S4 League the Best Free Anime Third Person Shooter Game

You probably haven’t even hard of S4 League before but it’s a great game. S4 League is a multiplayer third-person shooter that has eight character classes, many different gameplay modes, and lots of types of weaponry and skills. The graphics style is manga/anime-inspired so it’s very colorful and stylish.

The most fun thing about it is the different game play modes that rock. For example, you can try one that has rules similar to soccer. Of you can dish out the damage in a Battle Royale.

Battle Royal mode, the first mode in S4 League which focuses on PvP fights over team play, pits 12 players against each other in a no-holds barred competition to see who can grab the most kills. During matches, players are awarded points for the hits they obtain and the player with the most hits during gameplay is crowned the King. Being the King isn’t easy, though, as hits they suffer are worth more than double the points of a regular hit, encouraging the remaining players to hunt the King ahead of all others.

It’s crazy fun and one of the best PvP MMO games around.

I suggest that you try playing S4 League now, it’s free and the game client is very lightweight so you can play it on any computer. Season two will be released at the end of July so it’s a great time to join because I think there will be a lot of events and free stuff. :)

What I like about it is that it’s not “just” player killing. You don’t just walk up to someone and hit them over the head with your hammer. :) Not that I have anything against plain old pking but sometimes I like to have rules, too. The game play modes have rules, it’s fast, it’s mutually agreed-upon, good, clean fun! I like it when there are different types of PvP content in a free MMORPG.

MMORPG Statistics 2011

Filed under: Free to Play MMORPG —Tagged — Ria Ramos @ 3:03 pm

From the pioneering MMO statistics website MMOGChart, here is some interesting analysis of MMO games’ growth:

94.2% of the MMOG of the market falls into the category of fantasy RPG

Yes, also agreed. From my own personal experience players actually do prefer fantasy settings. A common request from the forums or places like Yahoo answers is “I want a game where I can be a knight and kill dragons” or “I want to be barbarian” or other similar requests, especially from first-time MMO players.

I guess their idea of playing in a virtual world is to escape to a pleasant fantasy realm.

The Age of Warcraft: November 2004 – Today
Starting with the release of World of Warcraft, everything we thought we knew about the size of the market changed. Not only was World of Warcraft a success, but also it far outstripped any other subscription-based MMOG to date, and surpassed even the loftiest of expectations.

True, but nothing new, we all know what happened. Blizzard’s best selling game World of Warcraft did not break any new ground creatively speaking, there were many games before it that were much more hardcore, revolutionary and new but what Blizzard did was to release a very polished game that is attractive to the general public. This just goes to show that if you make a great game, people will flock to it, just like the MMORPG statistics for WoW show.

In fact, nowadays there are some new MMORPGs that have tried to imitate Blizzard’s success by releasing WoW clones. These games like World of Warcraft have been very successful, too.

Here is the newest gameplay or ingame trailer for ARGO Online, a newly released steampunk-fantasy MMO.

Already one of the most popular multiplayer titles in Korea, ARGO Online introduces Western players to a steampunk-themed world where past meets future and magic meets technology. The mechanically savvy Noblian race has been at war with the nature-inspired Floresslah for years, each fighting for control of a valuable resource that is essential to their very survival: Earthdium. No matter which side players choose, they’ll have a grand part to play as they quest and fight their way across this war-torn planet when they visit ARGO Online.

The video clip is just a short teaser. The game itself is a free MMORPG with lots of PvP options and clocks in at just under two and a half minutes and is composed of equal parts fly-through footage, PvE combat, and PvP action. Argo Online has been named one of the Top 5 Free MMORPG Games of 2011.

Build Your Own Ant Colony

Yes, it’s ant time for everyone who loves simulation war games! There’s a new browser MMO game out, World of Ants.

To get to the top of the international ant-ladder, players have to develop their anthill step by step. They have to build up resources and do research on soldier ants – all this to create the most powerful and most successful colony on the planet.

It has a building stage like the Sims but you quickly move on to war preparations.

The best thing about WoA is that not only will you be able to play this great game, you can also have fun by punning other players to death with unlimited jokes about ants. For example,

What do you call an ant who skips school?
A truant!

What do you get if you cross ants with ticks?
All sorts of antics!

What medicine would you give a sick ant?
Antibiotics!

World of Ants is a true comedy goldmine for people who like horrible and corny jokes. :) It’s like that hit TV show Psych where that guy is a fake clairvoyANT. Please do not play this game if you are not very tolerANT towards people who love puns. Thank you for reading this pleasANT blog post.

Totally Free MMORPG No Download Latest Games – 2011 List

0
What are some fun and addicting free MMORPGs no download games?

This is one of the most common questions that players ask when they are looking for a fun game to play.

Click here if you are looking for a list of the latest free MMORPG no download games 2011.

Now before we discuss this let's explain the terms we are using. MMORPG stands for Massively Multiplayer Online RolePlaying Game. Massive in this case refers to both the game world and the number of players. In MMORPGs, it's not just two or three players playing on one screen like in an arcade game. It's large numbers of players inhabiting a huge virtual world.

The roleplaying aspects are pretty simple. Players have a game character, called an avatar, that they control. This avatar defines their role in the game. A mage character, for example, can cast magic spells while a hunter can control animals that will help them in battle.

Also, unlike video games, MMORPGs have no ending. There is never any game over screen because the player is not playing a set story - instead he creates his own goals. The beauty of this is that the player can be whatever he wants and play in an imaginary world with other people.

Common features of the best free MMORPGs include:

- chatting with other players
- social groups like guilds
- combat systems that allow players to fight each other or battle monsters
- skill systems for creating, upgrading and repairing items like weapons, armor, potions, spell components, etc.
- other content like player houses and fun minigames

So what's the big deal about free MMORPG no download games?

Firstly, it's free. Everyone loves free stuff and gamers are no exception.

Secondly, most games need to be installed on your computer. This means you either have to download and install the game software or in some cases, buy the game CD. No download MMORPGs can be played on your browser. You won't have to install anything so it's much easier to play.

These games can be played on any computer that has internet access. That includes older computers, netbook, laptops and other such systems that would not be able to handle large downloads.

Thirdly, it's just fun! Free browser games are generally more casual and less hardcore compared to other games.

So what can you expect from these free browser MMORPGs?

The top games have 3d graphics. Their graphics are not as good as the most expensive video games but they aren't awful either.

Gameplay is actually the same as with client games. Free MMORPG no download games also have the same game mechanics like quests, skills, different types of characters, player vs player, defeating mobs, monster drops, etc.
